Others criticized the ball player for copying Let Me Solo Her both in name and character design. Still, the city was grateful that somebody, anyone, was prepared to help out using what could be a pretty difficult final boss encounter.

  A Redditor within the comments asked LetMeSoloThem if the people summoning her were facing the Elden Beast the very first time or not. That appeared like a moot question as she wanted to help regardless.

  “The first 1,000 were [people on the] third run or more [from the Elden Beast], however, the next 2,000 were people on the first and second runs (as I sent a lower-level character towards the Erd Tree),” LetMeSoloThem said. “Some people prefer to overcome these challenges on their own as it can feel gratifying to finally beat something you've been stuck on, but others may not have the patience or perseverance, or maybe they have used summons to obtain through the majority of the game! I just prefer to make sure I’m there for those in need.”

  In Reddit messages with Kotaku, LetMeSoloThem explained that since the final boss is technically a two-part fight, with Radagon from the Golden Order coming right before the Elden Beast, she’s actually helping players battle two very challenging enemies. This is where part of the inspiration originated.

  “I would often visit a lot of people complaining about Radagon and Elden Beast and requesting help using the final boss on Reddit,” LetMeSoloThem said. “So, I decided to begin putting my sign down close to the boss’s door!”

  Another inspiration was Let Me Solo Her, the legendary player that’s helped countless Tarnished with Melania. In her eyes, Let Me Solo Her is really a hero that’s “spreading an excellent message to the city of helping others instead of telling them to ‘git gud.’” That’s a touching sentiment that accompanies drawbacks since she’s been criticized for copying Let Me Solo Her’s likeness and premise. She isn’t too bothered by the comparisons, though.

  “That’s fine,” LetMeSoloThem said. “I would say there's a couple of people within the Elden Ring community that dawn an identical name and Jarnished attire. But our intentions will be to honor [Let Me Solo Her] and it's legacy and help players who're struggling with certain boss encounters. Everyone enjoys the sport differently. I’m just here to aid those that need an additional helping hand.”
